We are seeking performers ages 9 and up. There are no children’s roles in ANYTHING GOES, but we will have two casts – an adult cast and a young performers cast. Each cast will have multiple performances when the show opens in August.
We are very excited about this new endeavor, in which we can continue to present the same great productions we have always, while allowing both adults and children the opportunity to grow and showcase their talent.
Auditions will be held May 20 and 21 at 6:00pm at Crossway Church located at W156N10041 Pilgrim Rd, Germantown.
Please prepare 16 bars of a song from a musical to be performed a capella and be prepared to learn a short tap dance combination. Tap dancing is not required of all characters; previous experience in tap is not required. Callbacks will be held on May 22 and 23 if needed.
Performances are August 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 at 7:00pm, August 3 and 10 at 2:00pm and August 4 and 11 at 3:30pm. Performances will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Living Christ at W156N10060 Pilgrim Rd, Germantown.
You may sing a song from any musical.
I was wondering if you could sing any song from any musical or if it had to be from Anything Goes.

Do you need to be there for both days of auditions, or can you come to just one?

If you have tap shoes, please bring them. You do not need tap shoes for auditions, although we do recommend that you wear some kind of dance shoe or a shoe with a hard sole. If you are cast in a role that needs to tap, you will need to provide a specific color and style of tap shoes, so no need to go out and buy a pair before auditions. Only some roles will need to tap dance in the show. There will be certain roles called back and then will be asked to read from the script. Call backs will be on Thurday, May 23 from 6-10pm.

Since we are double casting the production, we will consider children ages 9 and up for the roles in the young performers cast and women of all ages for the adult cast.

I’m checking to see what your next shows will be. A friend told me that you were doing “Anything Goes” in July. Have you planned your shows until the end of the year?
I saw the show on August 4th and it was fantastic. Great cast and wonderful music. Made me laugh and cry. Bravo to the cast. Excellent performance by all.
Saw the Aug.10th production. What a joy! We were so very inpressed with all the time and talent put into this production. Were truly moved by the emotion the cast was able to present. Excellent job by cast, crew, musicians,&staff!!
One of the best community theatre shows I have ever seen! Anyone who misses “Fiddler on the Roof” will have missed a great opportunity! Congrats to ITOG for putting together a high quality production! Acting, lighting, music,costumes, AWESOME!
